Crowdfunding to an IPO

September 26, 2023
As more companies go online to raise needed growth capital, some are taking it to the next level to become publicly traded firms. Regulation A (Reg A+) is a unique private securities exemption that allows issuers to trade their shares on a marketplace immediately or on an exchange following a securities crowdfunding offering. Firms may raise up to $75 million under Reg A+. At the same time, Regulation Crowdfunding (Reg CF) and Regulation D (Reg D) issuers may want to see their shares trade on an exchange eventually. Join Crowdfund Insider, the Canadian Securities Exchange (CSE), OTC Markets, and crowdfunding provider DealMaker to learn about raising capital online and then becoming a publicly traded firm – providing liquidity for investors.
